Virgil Abloh died after a private battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called cardiac angiosarcoma. He had been diagnosed with this cancer in 2019 and fought it for over two years while keeping his treatment private. Cardiac angiosarcoma is a rare soft tissue sarcoma that occurs in the heart, known for being aggressive and difficult to treat, often diagnosed at advanced stages. Despite undergoing many challenging treatments, Abloh passed away at the age of 41 in 2021.
