Spotify Wrapped is generated automatically by Spotify each year, and you view it inside the Spotify app or on the web when it goes live in early December.
Basic requirements
- You need to have listened to at least around 30 different tracks for more than 30 seconds each, and at least 5 different artists during the year for a Wrapped to be created for your account.
- Listening in Private Session or tracks you’ve excluded from your “Taste Profile” usually do not count toward Wrapped eligibility.
How to see it in the app
- Update your Spotify app to the latest version in the App Store or Google Play.
- Open Spotify and go to the Home tab; when Wrapped is live, you’ll normally see a big “Your 20XX Wrapped” banner or a “Wrapped” tab you can tap to start the story-style recap.
- If you still don’t see it, fully close and reopen the app or restart your phone, then check Home again.
How to see it in a browser
- Go to spotify.com/wrapped and log in to the same Spotify account you use on your phone.
- If Wrapped is available for you, the site will redirect you to your recap or prompt you to open it in the app.
If Wrapped isn’t showing
- Make sure you used Spotify enough this year (not mostly in Private Session, and not only very recently).
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, or use the in‑app search bar and type something like “Spotify Wrapped” or the internal link “spotify:datastories:wrapped” to bring up the experience when it’s active.
