You get Spotify Wrapped through the Spotify app and web player once Spotify releases it each year, as long as your account is eligible.
Basic steps
- Update the Spotify app on your phone (App Store or Google Play) and then open it. Wrapped usually appears as a big banner or a “Wrapped” tab at the top of the Home screen; tap it to start your recap.
- If you do not see the banner, use the app’s search and type “2025 Wrapped” or “wrapped”; you can also paste the special link or code from articles (for example, typing “spotify:datastories:wrapped” in the search bar) to jump straight to your story.
- You can also go to spotify.com in a browser, search “Spotify Wrapped 2025,” open the official Wrapped page, and log in; this will redirect you into the app or show your stats there.
If Wrapped is not showing
- Make sure you used Spotify enough this year: Spotify says you need at least 30 songs played for more than 30 seconds each, from at least 5 different artists, and private‑session listening does not count.
- If you still do not see it, try updating the app again, force closing and reopening it, logging out and back in, or clearing cache/restarting your phone; many guides recommend these fixes when Wrapped will not appear.
What you get in Wrapped
- Your Wrapped shows things like minutes listened, top artists, top songs, top genres, and often extras like your “listening age” or most‑played albums and podcasts.
- Spotify also creates auto‑generated Wrapped playlists for your top songs and sometimes special interactive “stories” or games you can share on social media.
