To turn off Do Not Disturb (DND) on your phone, follow these steps depending on your device:
On iPhone
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen (on iPhone X and later) or swipe up from the bottom (on older models) to open the Control Center.
- Tap the crescent moon icon (Do Not Disturb) to turn it off. The icon will no longer be highlighted, and the moon symbol will disappear from the status bar
- To prevent automatic scheduling of Do Not Disturb, go to Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb and turn off the Scheduled option
- You can also ask Siri to turn off Do Not Disturb
On Android
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings menu.
- Tap the Do Not Disturb icon (usually a circle with a dash) to disable it. You may need to swipe to a second page of icons to find it
- For more control, go to Settings > Sound & vibration > Do Not Disturb to adjust schedules and exceptions or turn it off manually
These methods provide a quick and easy way to stop Do Not Disturb mode and resume receiving notifications immediately
