To unhide apps on an iPhone running iOS 18 or later, follow these steps:
- Access the App Library : From your Home Screen, swipe left past all your app pages until you reach the App Library.
- Open the Hidden folder : Scroll down to the bottom of the App Library and tap on the Hidden folder.
- Authenticate : Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode to authenticate and view the hidden apps.
- Unhide the app : Find the app you want to unhide, then long-press (touch and hold) its icon. From the menu that appears, select Don't Require Face ID (or Touch ID/Passcode depending on your settings).
- Confirm authentication : Authenticate again if prompted. The app will be removed from the Hidden folder and returned to the regular App Library.
- (Optional) Add to Home Screen : If you want the app back on your Home Screen, long-press the app icon again and select Add to Home Screen.
This process will unhide the app, making it accessible without requiring Face ID or other authentication, and restore it to your Home Screen if you choose
