Big Blue Madness typically lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. The event starts at 6 p.m. ET and includes live team and coach introductions, special effects, performances, surprises, and sometimes shortened scrimmages or competitions. The full-day schedule also includes the BBN United Fan Fest earlier in the day, but the main Big Blue Madness event itself usually lasts around two hours in the evening at Rupp Arena.
