Cooked mince (ground meat) can safely be stored in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days. It should be cooled rapidly after cooking and stored in an airtight container. If not eaten within that timeframe, it is best to freeze it to extend its shelf life. Proper storage temperature below 5°C (40°F) helps inhibit bacterial growth and keeps the mince fresh. Leaving cooked mince out at room temperature should be limited to no more than 2 hours to prevent bacterial multiplication. After 4 days in the fridge, cooked mince is considered unsafe to eat and should be discarded to avoid the risk of foodborne illness.
