In the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) 2025/26 season, managers are given two Bench Boost chips: one to use between Gameweek 1 and Gameweek 19, and another from Gameweek 20 to Gameweek 38. This is a change from previous seasons where only one Bench Boost chip was available for the entire season. The first Bench Boost chip must be used by Gameweek 19 or it will expire, so managers need to plan its use strategically within the first half of the season. The second Bench Boost chip becomes available for use in the second half of the season. This means there are two Bench Boost chips available in the entire season, one for each half. The introduction of double chips, including two Bench Boosts, is a significant change in the 2025/26 FPL season format.
