how many children died in 9/11

The number of children who died in the September 11, 2001 attacks was eight. Five of these children were on American Airlines Flight 77, ranging in age from 3 to 11 years old, and three children were on United Airlines Flight 175, aged 2, 3, and 4 years old. The youngest victim was a 2-year-old child on Flight 175. In the World Trade Center towers, the youngest victim was 17 years old. Additionally, more than 3,051 children lost parents in the 9/11 tragedy.
