By about day 5, the stool transitions to yellow and seedy, indicating the baby is feeding well, and the frequency may vary but is generally around 3 to 4 per day or more.
Regarding the total diapers used daily, including wet ones, newborns can use up to 10 diapers a day or around 70 per week due to frequent urination and stooling. It is important to change diapers every time they are wet or soiled to prevent diaper rash.
