In the WNBA, each player is allowed five personal fouls in a game. Upon committing the sixth personal foul, the player is automatically disqualified or "fouls out" of the game. Additionally, there are flagrant fouls, with flagrant foul 1 being for unnecessary contact and flagrant foul 2 being for unnecessary and excessive contact. A player is disqualified immediately if they commit a flagrant foul 2, and players can be suspended for accumulating multiple flagrant fouls.
