Meanwhile, Battlefield 2042, the previous popular title, has a significantly smaller active player base, with around 6,400 concurrent players on Steam and monthly active players ranging between 50,000 to 70,000 across platforms. Other older Battlefield games have much lower current player counts in comparison.
