Ed Gein killed two confirmed people: Bernice Worden in 1957 and Mary Hogan in 1954. He confessed to these murders but was only tried and convicted of the murder of Bernice Worden. There is some suspicion around the mysterious death of his brother, but it was ruled an accident. Authorities also found that Gein had exhumed corpses to use body parts for various purposes, but no additional confirmed murders beyond the two women have been established.
