Ed Gein is confirmed to have killed two women: Bernice Worden and Mary Hogan. He admitted to these two murders but did not admit to any further killings, although there was suspicion that he might have been involved in the death of his older brother under mysterious circumstances. Additionally, Gein exhumed numerous corpses from local graves to use body parts for various purposes, but these were not murders he committed himself. His brother's death was ruled an accident, and no other murders were definitively linked to Gein. Thus, Ed Gein is suspected and confirmed to have killed two people.
