how many teams in the big 12

There are currently 16 teams in the Big 12 Conference. This includes schools that joined from the former Pac-12, such as Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah, as well as newer members like BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, and UCF. This expanded membership reflects recent conference realignments and changes.
