There are many villages in the Naruto universe, including both major and minor ones. The well-known main villages are the Five Great Shinobi Villages:
- Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village)
- Kumogakure (Hidden Cloud Village)
- Sunagakure (Hidden Sand Village)
- Iwagakure (Hidden Stone Village)
- Kirigakure (Hidden Mist Village)
Besides these, the Naruto world has numerous smaller or less prominent villages, some of which are mentioned in various parts of the series, manga, and additional media. A detailed source lists many such villages, including Amagakure (Hidden Rain Village), Otogakure (Hidden Sound Village), and many others, some existing in cover stories or manga excerpts. In total, including all types of villages seen or referenced in the Naruto universe, there can be dozens, but the five main villages dominate the focus of the series.
