There are currently two "Wicked" movies planned and being released as part of the film adaptation of the popular musical. The adaptation is split into two separate films:
- "Wicked: Part 1" was released on November 22, 2024.
- "Wicked: Part 2" (also called "Wicked: For Good") is scheduled to be released on November 21, 2025.
The reason for splitting "Wicked" into two movies was to avoid omitting important plot points and to better develop the characters. So far, only the first movie has been released, with the second movie coming soon.
