Mile High Stadium was originally constructed in 1948. It was initially called Bears Stadium and was built to accommodate the Denver Bears baseball team. The stadium was expanded and renamed Mile High Stadium in 1968. It served as the home for the Denver Broncos football team from 1960 until 2000. The stadium was demolished in 2002. As of 2025, the original Mile High Stadium structure would be 77 years old since its initial construction in 1948, though it no longer exists as it was demolished over two decades ago.
