The Twin Towers of the original World Trade Center had the following heights:
- The North Tower (1 World Trade Center) was 1,368 feet (417 meters) tall.
- The South Tower (2 World Trade Center) was 1,362 feet (415.1 meters) tall.
These measurements refer to the height to the flat rooftops of the towers. The North Tower also had a TV antenna that raised its total height to 1,730 feet (527 meters). Each tower had 110 stories. The Twin Towers were the tallest buildings in the world at the time of their completion in the early 1970s and were the tallest twin skyscrapers until 1996.
