To access the Secure Folder on a Samsung phone, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app by swiping up and selecting Settings.
  2. Go to Biometrics and security or Security and privacy.
  3. Select Secure Folder.
  4. If setting up for the first time, sign in with your Samsung account or create a new one.
  5. Set up the lock type such as PIN, Pattern, Password, or Biometrics.
  6. After setup, a Secure Folder shortcut will appear on the Home screen and Apps screen.
  7. To open the Secure Folder, tap the shortcut, then enter your lock credentials.
  8. If the Secure Folder icon is hidden, you can make it visible again in Secure Folder settings by toggling on "Add Secure Folder to apps screen."
  9. You can secure files, apps, and private data inside the folder.

For quick access, you can also remap your phone's side key (power button) to open the Secure Folder with a double press through Side key settings. This folder is protected by Samsung Knox security for encryption and safety of stored data. These steps work on most Samsung Galaxy phones supporting Secure Folder.
