To allow pop-ups in Google Chrome, follow these steps:
- Open Chrome on your computer.
- Click the three dots (Customize and control Google Chrome) in the upper right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- On the left sidebar, click Privacy and security.
- Click Site Settings.
- Scroll down and select Pop-ups and redirects.
- To allow pop-ups for all sites, toggle the setting to Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects.
- To allow pop-ups only for specific websites, keep the default blocking enabled and under the Allow section, click Add and enter the website URL you want to permit pop-ups from, then click Add.
If a pop-up has been blocked on a site you're visiting, you can also click the pop-up blocked icon in the address bar and choose to always allow pop-ups from that site
. This method works on desktop versions of Chrome for Windows, macOS, and Linux. For mobile devices, the process is similar but accessed through the Chrome app settings. Be cautious when allowing pop-ups, as they can sometimes be used for spam or malicious content. Only enable pop-ups for trusted websites
