To block emails on Gmail, follow these steps:
- Block from an email message:
- Open Gmail on your computer or mobile app.
- Open an email from the sender you want to block.
- Click the three vertical dots (More) at the top right of the email.
- Select Block "[sender's name]".
- Confirm by clicking Block.
After blocking, all future emails from that sender will go directly to your Spam folder
- Create a filter to delete emails automatically (optional):
- On your computer, open Gmail.
- Click the down arrow in the search bar to open search options.
- Enter the sender's email address in the "From" field.
- Click Create filter.
- Check Delete it to automatically delete emails from that sender.
- Click Create filter.
This will delete incoming emails from that sender instead of sending them to spam
- Manage blocked addresses:
- Go to Gmail settings (click the gear icon, then See all settings).
- Navigate to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
- Here you can see and unblock email addresses or delete filters if needed
- Additional tips:
- To prevent valid emails from going to spam, add the sender to your Google Contacts.
- You can also create filters to never send certain emails to spam.

Blocking an email address in Gmail sends future messages from that sender to spam, and creating filters can delete them automatically if you prefer not to see them at all
