To change your profile picture on Instagram, follow these steps:
- Open the Instagram app on your mobile device.
- Tap your profile icon in the bottom right corner to go to your profile.
- Tap Edit Profile under your current profile picture.
- Tap Edit picture or Change profile photo.
- Choose how you want to update your photo:
- Select a photo from your phone’s gallery.
- Take a new photo using your camera.
- Import a photo from Facebook.
- Create or select an avatar.
- After selecting the photo, you can crop or edit it as needed.
- Tap Save or Done to apply the new profile picture.
This process works similarly on both iPhone and Android devices. You can also change your profile picture via the Instagram website by going to your profile, clicking Edit Profile , then Change Profile Photo , and uploading a new image from your computer
