The steps to disable Safe Mode depend on the device or system: For Windows 10:
- Open the Run dialog by pressing Win + R.
- Type "msconfig" and press Enter to open System Configuration.
- Go to the Boot tab.
- Uncheck the "Safe boot" option.
- Click Apply, then OK.
- Restart your computer and it will boot in normal mode instead of Safe Mode.
Alternatively, you can disable Safe Mode using Command Prompt:
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
- Type: bcdedit /deletevalue {current} safeboot and press Enter.
- Restart your computer.
You can also use the Shift key restart method:
- Hold down Shift and click Restart.
- Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
- When options appear after restart, press Enter to boot normally.
For Android devices:
- Press and hold the Power button for about 30 seconds (some models may require holding Volume Down + Power).
- Restart your device normally, and it will exit Safe Mode.
There are also ways on Android devices to use the notification panel to turn off Safe Mode if that option appears.
