To download songs on Spotify, you need to have a Spotify Premium subscription. You cannot download individual songs directly; instead, you add the songs you want to download to a playlist and then download the entire playlist. Here are the steps:
- Open the Spotify app on your device.
- Find the songs you want and add them to a new or existing playlist by clicking the three dots next to a song and selecting "Add to Playlist."
- Go to Your Library and open the playlist you created with the songs you want to download.
- Tap the download button (a downward arrow) on the playlist page to start downloading all the songs in that playlist.
- Once downloaded, you'll see a green arrow next to each song indicating it is available offline.
Note that downloaded songs can only be played within the Spotify app, and you must be a Premium subscriber to use this feature. If you want to download songs as MP3 files outside Spotify, some third-party tools and web services exist, but these are not officially supported by Spotify and may infringe on copyright. This method works on both mobile and desktop Spotify apps and ensures you can listen offline without an internet connection.
