To evolve Swirlix into Slurpuff in Pokémon GO, the process is as follows:
- Collect 50 Swirlix candies.
- Make Swirlix your buddy.
- Feed Swirlix 25 treats, which can be any combination of berries (like Raspberry, Pinap, Nanab, or Razz Berries) or poffins.
- After feeding the 25 treats, go to Swirlix's Pokémon page and evolve it into Slurpuff.
You do not need Swirlix to be actively on the map during evolution, but it must be your buddy while feeding the treats. The treat feeding progress can be tracked through the "adventure together to evolve" text on Swirlix's summary page, which shows how many treats have been given out of 25. This evolution method differs from the main series games where Swirlix evolves by trading while holding a Whipped Dream item. In Pokémon GO, the treat feeding while it's your buddy replaces that mechanic.
