To find saved passwords on your iPhone, follow these steps depending on your iOS version:
For iOS 18 and later
- Open the Passwords app, which is a dedicated app introduced in iOS 18 for managing passwords and passkeys.
- Unlock the app using Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
- You can browse or search for a website or app to view its saved password or passkey.
- Tap on the entry to see details, and tap the password field to reveal the password. You can also copy it if needed
For iOS 14 to iOS 17
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap Passwords.
- Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
- Select a website or app from the list to view the saved password.
- You can edit or delete passwords from here if needed
Using Siri
- Activate Siri by pressing the side or home button or saying "Hey Siri."
- Ask "Show my passwords" or "What is my [app/website] password?"
- Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode to view the password
This method lets you securely access all your saved passwords stored in iCloud Keychain on your iPhone, ensuring you can retrieve credentials for websites and apps whenever necessary.
