To free the Earth Giant in the game "Coral Island," follow these steps:
- After progressing in the game and receiving a visit from the Goddess' voice in a dream, go to one of the sacred trees on Coral Island and touch the tablet there to make the Giant Chieftain appear.
- Meet the Chieftain at the front entrance of the Giant Village, which is initially locked except for the entrance.
- The Chieftain will perform a ceremony allowing you to understand the language on tablets and at the Lake Temple.
- About three or four in-game days after the ceremony, enter the Cavern where the Chieftain will be waiting and tell you about the giants being turned to stone. The Chieftain will ask you to free the Earth Giant by entering the Earth Shaft since he cannot.
- Take on the quest "Petrified Giants I." Prepare for mining and combat with suitable tools and food.
- Navigate to level 40 of the Earth Shaft in the Cavern, where you'll find a runic stone encased in vines. Touch the stone to break the curse and free the Earth Giant.
- Return to the entrance and meet with the Chieftain and the now freed Earth Giant named Grog.
- After a day, you will receive a letter from Grog inviting you to the Giant Village where he will open the entrance for you.
- Inside the Giant Village, you can interact with the enchantment table to enhance your tools.
This is the first step in a series of quests to free other giants and unlock more of the game's mysteries and rewards. The journey to free the other giants continues after freeing the Earth Giant.
