To get access to the CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) beta, also called the Limited Test, players need to meet specific eligibility criteria set by Valve. The key requirements for the highest chance of gaining access are:
- Have a CS:GO account with Prime Status.
- Have an active Competitive Skill Group (a rank) in CS:GO.
- Play the majority of official matchmaking games in regions where the Limited Test is available.
- Have a good Steam account standing with no restrictions or bans.
- Have a good trust factor and recent playtime on Valve official servers.
Valve is inviting players in waves based on these criteria, so automatic enrollment happens after they determine eligibility. Once invited, players get a notification in the CS:GO main menu with an option to enroll, which begins downloading CS2 beta. Currently, there is no way to manually buy or get keys for the beta; it is invitation-only. Also, beware of scams claiming to sell access keys.
