To get early access to Skate 4, now simply called Skate, the early access version launched on September 16, 2025. It is free to play on PC (via EA App, Epic Games Store, Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. No invite or special sign-up is currently required as the game is available to all players on these platforms from the launch date. You just need to download the game and log in with an online EA account, as the game requires an internet connection to play. Early access includes an evolving online multiplayer world with regular updates and seasonal content drops. If you had signed up for the earlier playtests or were part of Skate Insiders before June 27, 2025, you would have received early invites, but now open early access is available to the public. The game does not support keyboard and mouse yet on PC; a controller is required to play. Also, Steam Deck is not supported currently. The game is planned to come later to iOS and Android devices as well. In summary, early access to Skate is now available for free download and play on major consoles and PC starting September 16, 2025, just requiring an EA account and internet connection.
