To get a loan in NTC (Nepal Telecom Corporation) for prepaid mobile services, you can use the "Namaste Credit" or "Sapati" service. Here is how to get the loan:
- Send an SMS with the message "START" to the number 1477 from your NTC prepaid SIM.
- After this, your loan will be activated, and you will have credit even if your balance is zero.
- The loan amount depends on your loyalty and usage history, typically Rs. 20.
- The loan credit can be used for calls, SMS, and data.
- When you recharge your balance again, the loan amount you used will be deducted automatically.
- If you recharge an amount less than the loan amount, 60% of the recharge will be deducted first, with the rest deducted on the next recharge.
- This service is available free of charge and works only for prepaid SIM users who have been active for more than 3 months.
There is also a USSD method:
- Dial *1477# on your phone.
- Choose option 1 to activate the loan.
You can also check your loan status by sending "STATUS" to 1477 or dial *1477# and select the appropriate option. To deactivate the loan service, send "STOP" to 1477. This service ensures "No Call Drop" due to insufficient balance and does not charge any extra fee for using this loan credit.
