How to Get the Black Cat Pet in MM2
The Black Cat pet in Murder Mystery 2 (MM2) is no longer obtainable through normal gameplay. It was a limited-time reward from the 2019 Halloween Event and can now only be acquired by trading with other players who already own it.
Original Availability
The Black Cat was introduced as a common-tier pet during MM2's 2019 Halloween Event. Players could unlock it by purchasing the 5th tier reward in the event's Main Event track. Once that seasonal event ended, the pet was retired and removed from all regular acquisition methods.
Current Method: Trading
Since the Black Cat is no longer available through events, shops, or eggs, trading is the only way to get it today. You'll need to:
- Find a player willing to trade their Black Cat pet
- Offer items or pets they consider fair value
- Complete the trade through MM2's trading system
Current community valuations place the Black Cat around 125–140 value points in MM2's pet-tier economy, with relatively low demand (rated 3 out of 10). This makes it more accessible than high-demand legendary pets, but you'll still need something of comparable value to offer.
