To hide your friends list on Facebook, you can adjust your privacy settings either on desktop or mobile. Here’s a clear step-by-step guide:
On Desktop
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- Click your profile picture or the down-arrow icon at the top right corner.
- Select Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Privacy.
- Scroll to the section How People Find and Contact You.
- Find Who can see your friends list? and click Edit.
- Click the dropdown menu and select who can view your friends list:
- Public
- Friends
- Friends except...
- Specific friends
- Only me (to hide completely)
- Your selection saves automatically, and the change applies across all devices
On Mobile (iPhone or Android)
- Open the Facebook app.
