To hide the taskbar in Windows 11, follow these steps:
- Right-click on any empty space on the taskbar.
- Select "Taskbar settings" from the context menu.
- In the Settings window, scroll down and click on "Taskbar behaviors."
- Check the box for "Automatically hide the taskbar."
Once enabled, the taskbar will be hidden and will only appear when you move your mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen. To make the taskbar visible again, simply move the cursor away from the bottom or disable the auto-hide option by unchecking the box in Taskbar behaviors
. Alternatively, you can access these settings through:
- Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors, then enable "Automatically hide the taskbar"
This method maximizes screen space and reduces visual clutter while keeping the taskbar accessible when needed.
