Instagram does not notify you if someone takes a screenshot of your Story. Although Instagram briefly tested a screenshot notification feature for Stories in 2018, it was quickly removed due to negative user feedback and privacy concerns. Since then, users can freely screenshot Stories without the original poster being alerted
. The only time Instagram notifies users about screenshots is when someone captures disappearing photos or videos sent in Direct Messages (DMs), including Vanish Mode. For regular Stories, posts, reels, highlights, and non- disappearing DMs, no screenshot notifications are sent
. Therefore, there is currently no way to know if someone has taken a screenshot of your Instagram Story. You can only see who viewed your Story, but not who saved or screenshotted it
