You can know if you are blocked on WhatsApp by looking for these key signs:
- You no longer see the contact's profile picture or updates to it. If you tap to enlarge the profile picture and it disappears, it strongly suggests you are blocked.
- You can't see their "Last Seen" or online status in the chat.
- Messages you send only show one gray checkmark (sent) but never show the second gray checkmark (delivered) or blue checkmarks (read).
- You cannot see the contact's status updates.
- You are unable to add the contact to a WhatsApp group.
- Any WhatsApp calls you place to the contact do not ring through.
None of these indicators alone is foolproof since some settings may hide status or profile pictures for privacy reasons, but if you observe most or all of these signs together, it is very likely you have been blocked on WhatsApp.
