To log out of Netflix on your TV, follow these steps which generally apply to most smart TVs and streaming devices:
- Open the Netflix app on your smart TV.
- From the Netflix home screen, use your remote to navigate to the left to open the sidebar menu.
- Scroll down the menu and select Get Help (this option may be at the bottom of the sidebar).
- In the Get Help menu, scroll down and select Sign Out.
- Confirm by selecting Yes when prompted to log out.
After this, the Netflix app will restart and return to the sign-in screen, meaning you have successfully logged out
. If you cannot find the Sign Out option on your TV, you can also log out remotely via the Netflix website:
- Go to Netflix.com and sign in.
- Click on your profile icon and select Account.
- Under Security and Privacy , choose Manage Access and Devices.
- Find your TV or streaming device in the list and click Sign Out next to it.
- Alternatively, you can select Sign Out of All Devices to log out everywhere
This method is useful if you no longer have access to the TV or want to ensure your account is signed out from all devices.
