To take a long screenshot (scrolling or full-page screenshot) on an iPhone, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the page or app with the content to capture, such as a webpage in Safari, an email, or a long conversation.
- Take a regular screenshot:
- On iPhones with Face ID, press the Side button and Volume Up button simultaneously.
- On iPhones with a Home button, press the Side (or Top) button and the Home button simultaneously.
- A thumbnail preview of the screenshot will appear in the lower-left corner of the screen. Tap the thumbnail quickly before it disappears.
- In the preview screen, tap the "Full Page" tab at the top to capture the entire scrollable content.
- You can scroll through and preview the full page, edit by cropping or annotating if desired.
- Tap "Done" in the top-left corner.
- Save the long screenshot either to Photos or as a PDF to the Files app.
Note: This feature is available on iPhones running iOS 14 or later, and works in apps like Safari, Mail, Notes, and some others. This method captures the entire scrollable content as one long image or PDF, eliminating the need for multiple screenshots.
