To make a bed in Minecraft, follow these steps:
- Gather Materials
- 3 Wool Blocks: Obtain wool by shearing sheep (requires shears made from 2 iron ingots) or by killing sheep. Wool must be all the same color to craft a bed of that color.
- 3 Wooden Planks: Chop down trees to get logs, then convert logs into planks in your inventory or crafting table.
- Craft a Crafting Table (if you don't have one)
- Place 4 wooden planks in a 2x2 crafting grid to create a crafting table.
- Open the Crafting Table
- Right-click the placed crafting table to access the 3x3 crafting grid.
- Arrange Materials to Craft the Bed
- Place the 3 wool blocks horizontally in the middle row.
- Place the 3 wooden planks horizontally in the bottom row.
- Collect the Bed
- Drag the bed from the result box into your inventory.
- Place and Use the Bed
- Select the bed in your hotbar and right-click on a flat surface to place it.
- Right-click the bed at night to sleep and skip the night. Sleeping also sets your spawn point, so if you die, you respawn at the bed's location.
