To pin a comment on TikTok, follow these simple steps:
- Open the TikTok app and navigate to the video where you want to pin a comment.
- Tap the comments icon to open the comments section.
- Find the comment you want to pin.
- Press and hold (long press) on that comment.
- A menu will pop up; select the option “Pin comment.”
The selected comment will then be pinned to the top of the comments section, making it the first comment viewers see
. Additional notes:
- You can only pin one comment per video. Pinning a new comment will replace the previously pinned one
- Only the creator of the video can pin or unpin comments on their posts
- The pinned comment’s author will receive a notification when their comment is pinned
- This feature is available on both iPhone and Android devices, as well as via TikTok on PC through the web browser or Android emulator
To unpin a comment, simply long press the pinned comment and select “Unpin comment” from the menu
