To put your iPhone on Do Not Disturb mode, follow these steps:
Quick Method Using Control Center
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen (on iPhone X and later) or swipe up from the bottom (on earlier models) to open the Control Center.
- Tap the Focus icon (it looks like a crescent moon).
- From the Focus options, tap Do Not Disturb to enable it. The crescent moon icon will light up to indicate that Do Not Disturb is on
Customizing Do Not Disturb
- To customize which people or apps can notify you during Do Not Disturb, go to Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb.
- You can allow calls from Favorites or specific contacts, enable repeated calls to break through, and set schedules for automatic activation
Setting a Schedule for Do Not Disturb
- Open Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb.
- Tap Add Schedule or Automation.
- Choose to activate Do Not Disturb based on time, location, or app usage.
- Set the desired time range or conditions for automatic activation
Turning Off Do Not Disturb
- Open Control Center again.
- Tap the Do Not Disturb (crescent moon) icon to turn it off.
- To prevent automatic activation, go to Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb and disable any schedules
