To redeem a Fortnite gift card (V-Bucks card), follow these steps:
- Go to the official Epic Games V-Bucks redemption page: fortnite.com/vbuckscard and log in to your Epic Games account. If redeeming for a console, you can log in using your console credentials
- Click Get Started to begin the process.
- Scratch off the back of your V-Bucks card carefully to reveal the PIN code. Enter the PIN code without dashes and click Next
- Select the platform (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, mobile) where you want to redeem the V-Bucks and click Next
- Review the details to ensure your Epic account, device, and new balance are correct, then click Confirm
- If redeeming on PC, Switch, or mobile, the V-Bucks will be added directly to your account and you can launch Fortnite to use them
- For Xbox or PlayStation, a secondary code will be generated after confirmation. You must enter this code on the respective Microsoft or Sony redemption website to complete the process. This code is also emailed to you
- After redeeming the code on your console’s store (e.g., Microsoft Store for Xbox, PlayStation Store for PS), your V-Bucks will be credited to your Fortnite account
Additional notes:
- A valid Epic Games account is required.
- For Nintendo Switch, you also need a Nintendo Account linked to your Epic account
- Keep your purchase receipt in case you need support
