To remove or turn off SafeSearch on Google, follow these steps: On a computer (Windows or Mac):
- Open a web browser and go to Google.com.
- Click on "Settings" at the bottom right corner of the Google homepage and select "Search settings."
- In the "SafeSearch filters" section, uncheck the box labeled "Turn on SafeSearch."
- Scroll down and click "Save" to apply the changes.
On an iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Google app, tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Go to "Settings," then "SafeSearch."
- Select "Off" to disable SafeSearch.
Alternatively, in a mobile browser, go to Google.com, tap "Settings" > "Search settings," then turn SafeSearch off and save.
On Android devices:
- Open the Google app, tap your profile picture, go to "Settings," then "SafeSearch," and turn it off.
Or in a browser, go to Google.com, tap "Settings" > "Search settings," turn SafeSearch off, and save.
Note: If SafeSearch cannot be turned off because it is locked by a network administrator or parental controls, it may require changes in network DNS settings or device content restrictions settings (such as iOS Screen Time) to fully disable it.
