To remove the SIM card from an iPhone, follow these steps:
- Find the SIM card tray on the iPhone. It is usually located on the right side of the device, except on some models (like the iPhone 12 and 13 series) where it is on the left side.
- Use the SIM eject tool that came with your iPhone or a straightened paper clip.
- Insert the tool or paper clip into the small pinhole on the SIM card tray and gently push inward until the tray pops out.
- Pull the tray out carefully.
- Remove the SIM card from the tray by gently pushing it out or lifting it with your finger.
- To reinsert or replace a SIM card, place the new SIM card in the tray making sure the notched corner of the SIM card aligns with the tray.
- Slide the tray back into the iPhone in the same orientation it was removed.
Make sure not to force the tray in or out to avoid damage.
