To report a TikTok account, follow these steps: Using the TikTok app:
- Go to the profile of the account you want to report.
- Tap the Share button (usually an arrow icon) at the top right of the profile.
- Select Report.
- Choose Report account.
- Pick a reason for your report from the list provided (e.g., impersonation, unsafe content, harassment).
- Tap Submit to send your report
Using TikTok on a web browser:
- Navigate to the profile of the account you want to report.
- Click the More options button (three dots or similar) at the top.
- Click Report.
- Select Report account.
- Choose the reason for reporting and click Submit
For impersonation accounts:
- You can report impersonation specifically by selecting "Pretending to Be Someone" during the report process.
- If the account impersonates you or someone else, you may also use TikTok’s dedicated online forms for impersonation reports, which may require submitting identification and additional details
After reporting, you can also block the account to prevent further interaction if desired
