- If you want quicker access to scanning, you can add the Code Scanner to Control Center :
- Go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls.
- Tap the plus (+) sign next to Code Scanner to add it.
- Then, swipe down to open Control Center and tap the Code Scanner icon to scan QR codes directly
- Ensure QR code scanning is enabled in your camera settings:
- Open Settings > Camera.
- Make sure Scan QR Codes is toggled on (green)
Additional tips:
- If the camera has trouble focusing, tap the screen where the QR code is displayed or adjust the distance between your iPhone and the QR code
- Make sure the QR code is well-lit and not damaged or obscured
- You can also scan QR codes from images in your Photos app using Live Text by tapping the QR code in the photo to open its link
