- The Den space station in the Wolf system is a popular and early accessible spot to sell stolen items. The Trade Authority vendor there has a good amount of credits and will buy stolen goods without scanning you.
- The Trade Authority can also be found on the first planet you visit, Jamison, in an area called The Well, and on Mars, the second story planet.
- New Atlantis and the Crimson Fleet ship The Key on planet Neon also host Trade Authority vendors.
How to Sell
- Dock at the station or visit the building where the Trade Authority vendor is located.
- Sell your stolen items directly to the vendor.
- The vendor has limited credits, but you can wait 24 hours to reset their inventory and credits to continue selling.
How to Remove the Stolen Tag (Launder Items)
- After selling a stolen item to a Trade Authority vendor, do not exit the trade menu.
- Switch to the "Buy" tab and scroll to the bottom to find the "Buy Back" option.
- Buy back the item you sold; it will no longer have the stolen tag, making it safe to keep without risk of confiscation.
- This method works for all stolen items, including weapons and ammo.
