To send your live location on WhatsApp, follow these steps:
- Open an individual or group chat in WhatsApp.
- Tap the attachment icon (paperclip on Android or plus sign on iOS).
- Select Location.
- Tap Share live location.
- Choose the duration for which you want to share your live location (e.g., 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours).
- Optionally, add a comment or emoji.
- Tap Send to share your live location with the chat members.
Your live location will update in real time for the selected duration. You can stop sharing at any time by opening the chat, tapping Stop sharing , and confirming. This feature is end-to-end encrypted, so only the people you share with can see your location
