To share your LinkedIn profile, you have two main methods: sharing your profile link or using LinkedIn’s built-in "Share Profile" feature.
Method 1: Share Your LinkedIn Profile Link
- Log in to LinkedIn and go to your profile by clicking the Me icon and selecting View Profile.
- Copy your public profile URL, which is shown under "Public profile & URL" on the right side of your profile page. It looks like:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/yourname. - Paste this URL wherever you want to share it-such as in emails, messages, resumes, or social media posts
Method 2: Use LinkedIn’s "Share Profile" Feature
- On LinkedIn, click the Me icon at the top and select View Profile.
- In your profile’s introduction section, click the More button (three dots).
- Choose Share Profile or Send profile in a message from the dropdown menu.
- In the message window that opens, type the name(s) of your connection(s) you want to share your profile with.
- Optionally, add a personalized message.
- Click Send to share your profile directly via LinkedIn messaging
Sharing on Mobile
- Tap your profile picture, then View Profile.
- Scroll to the Contact section.
- Tap Your Profile > Share via… to share through LinkedIn or other messaging apps on your device
This feature also allows you to share other members’ profiles with your connections by navigating to their profile, clicking More , and selecting Share Profile
