To switch back to a personal account on Instagram from a professional (business or creator) account, follow these steps:
- Open the Instagram app on your phone.
- Tap your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Tap the three horizontal lines (menu) at the top right corner.
- Select Settings and privacy.
- Scroll down to the section labeled Business tools and controls or Creator tools and controls (depending on your account type).
- Tap Switch account type.
- Choose Switch to personal account.
- Confirm by tapping Switch to personal account again when prompted.
After this, your account will be converted back to a personal account, removing business insights, ad tools, and contact buttons, and allowing you to use Instagram like a regular user with the option to keep your profile private
